On 25th – 27th May, 2023, the council meeting was held in OKADA Manila hotel, Manila- Philippines.
Five countries’ associations had sent delegates to attend this meeting. The delegate from Myanmar was invited to attend as the observing country.
In the meeting, the GMFTI briefed the result of the 44th ASEAN Glass Conference in Pattaya in 2022. The Organising committee of Vietnam presented and updated the progress of preparation on the 45th ASEAN Glass Conference which will be organized from 25th – 29th, September in Nha Trang – Vietnam with the theme “Our Net Zero Future”.
The chairman of AFGM- Mr Harris Hendraka thanked the efforts of GMFTI in organizing the 44th ASEAN Glass conference successfully. He also highly appreciated and expressed the support to the O.C of Vietnam in organizing the 45th conference in Vietnam and called for sponsorships from partners both international and local to contribute to the conference.
